Hamilton Theatre Arts presents it’s first ever musical theatre production this March!
Following the launch of our Musical Theatre Diploma back in September 2020, our students are now ready to present their first fully produced musical theatre show.
Behind Bars is a devised production and is being described by it’s Director, Gillian McLaren Scott as ‘a musical documentary about life in a women’s prison’. The production will feature students from both the Dance & Musical Theatre courses.
We popped into rehearsals this week and caught a sneaky peak at the show’s Act One finale ‘Jailhouse Rock’ and it’s already looking like it’s going to be a great show!
The production will take place at Glasgow’s Classic Grand in Jamaica Street and promises to be an immersive production.
Tickets are £18 (plus fee) and are available at our Box Office. (Please note this venue is no accessible and access is via several flights of stairs with no lift or ramped access. This production is not suitable for children under 16 years).
