Industry Connections with Graeme Pickering

Our Industry Connections series continues with visiting guest artist Graeme Pickering.

At Hamilton Theatre Arts, we believe it’s important to maintain strong connections with those currently working in the Industry so that our students get the best possible training.   

In September 2022, our students enjoyed a special workshop with visiting artist, Choreographer and Casting Consultant Graeme Pickering.

Graeme is a Choreographer, Casting Consultant and Teacher based in the UK. He has choreographed many musical, holiday park and pantomime productions across the UK and overseas.

He is the Casting Associate for Celebrity Cruises, where he has held auditions in London, across Europe, Australia and New York. Other casting work includes collaborating with Variety Worldwide and Casting Director for the UK Tour of ‘Rip it Up: The 70s’, ‘Here Come The Boys’ and ‘Viva La Divas’. He is also Casting Consultant for Bourne Leisure (Haven) and Casting Director for Bor Productions (MSC Cruises). Most recently he has cast for East West Events' lavish Christmas Spectacular at Warner Bros. World - Abu Dhabi.

Graeme works in various distinguished full time dance and theatre schools across the UK and overseas. He is the Creative Director of Studio 79 (Leicester).

Graeme is the founder and creator of Nottingham Musical Theatre Associates and is also the author of the Amazon Top 10 Best Selling Book ’50 TIPS: AUDITION SUCCESS’.
