Introducing Gillian McLaren Scott

Principal Robert Hamilton is delighted to announce that renowned vocal coach Gillian McLaren Scott will join forces with the College to launch the brand new 3 year Diploma in Musical Theatre. Gillian brings a wealth of experience and knowledge having worked extensively as Vocal Coach, Course Leader and Musical Director & Director for over 25 years. In March 2021, Dancepoint College is changing it's name to become Hamilton Theatre Arts. The College will continue to offer the existing 3 year Diploma in Professional Dance Performance and will start delivering a new 3 year Diploma in Musical Theatre from September 2021. With the broadening portfolio of courses, it's the right time to create a College brand that reflects this and so, Hamilton Theatre Arts is born. Both courses are approved by the SQA.

Building upon 20 years of exceptional dance training, Hamilton Theatre Arts will offer it’s outstanding dance training, combined with a comprehensive programme of singing and voice (Estill) and acting to create industry ready triple threat performers.

Our new 3 year Musical Theatre Diploma begins in September 2021 and we are now accepting applications!   And don’t forget, we still offer our 3 year Diploma in Professional Dance Performance too!
